Educates the patient about the tests and treatments that will be administered during the initial patient interview, which is conducted following a physician's recommendation.
Ensure that patients complete all necessary paperwork and that insurance is verified prior to testing.
Assist with managing the overall progress of immunotherapy and the formulation and preparation of the allergy medication.
This includes weekly appointments by all patients.
Responsible for the security and maintenance of inventory levels.
Make sure that inventory is ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
Observe patient, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
Ensure work area is neat and clean, fully stocked and all laundry items have been laundered and put away.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment.
Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Will train right individual with little or no experience.
Preference is given to individuals with 6
months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
