Customer Service Appointment Coordinator - Sales /Service - Atlantic Toyota

Business Development (BDC) Representatives - Customer Service Appointment Coordinators needed for our Sales and Service Departments
The Atlantic Auto Group is looking to add customer service appointment coordinators to our Business Development Center Service Department. This is a great career opportunity for applicants with automotive experience, or for someone who would like a taste of the automotive business.
Our staffs of automotive professionals take pride in representing our brands and are well versed in the innovative design, advanced technology, and superior performance that the brand represents.
Responsibilities for our BDC positions include:
Setting up all service appointments with customers via telephone and email.
Making follow-up calls to customers regarding their service appointment.
Interacting with customers as well as with all dealership departments. There is no "cold calling" associated with this position. We only work with consumers who have requested service from us.
This position includes a base salary plus a commission plan with bonuses.
Automotive BDC experience is preferred but will train candidates with customer service and/or telephone contact experience.
Candidates must be reliable and must report to work every day on time.
We want friendly upbeat people who like talking on the phone and helping people find answers to customer's questions about our extensive line of products.
Ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
Ability to follow instructions to perform tasks for Business Development Manager.
Ability to encourage customers to schedule appointments.
Excellent written and oral bi-lingual communication skills a plus.
A determination to effectively follow-up with customers.
Dependable and compliant in following assigned work schedule which will include weekend hours.
Basic knowledge of computers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services via phone, email, text or chat.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a similar role a plus
Professional appearance and demeanor
Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
Must have an outgoing personality (a "people person")

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
