A Level Technician (Auto) - Atlantic Audi

A Level Automotive Technicians Needed for Atlantic Audi, a flagship store of the Atlantic Auto Group, one of the nation's largest automotive groups! Automotive Technicians services vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which includes rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. He or she checks the oil, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and performs other repair services as needed. He/she delivers the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one to two years of A Level Automotive Technician experience. An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service. State-certified inspectors a plus.

Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations
Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned
Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
Follows all safety and security procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
ASE certifications
Certification as a state inspector a plus
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
B- or C-level qualifications
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
Highly organized and detail oriented
Must be reliable and able to follow directions
Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
Must have a valid and clean NY state driver's license
Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Must be able to pass a license/motor vehicle record check

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
