Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Responsible for interpreting physician orders and administering the proper CAT scan examinations; monitors and observes patient for any reaction during examination and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology
Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred
New York State License as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification
Injection certified preferred, if not certified you will be required to become certified within the first year of working as a CT tech.
Must maintain a minimum of 24 Category a continuing education credits every 2 years.
Computer skills necessary. Excellent communication skills required.
BLS or CPR/AED training required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
