Bio-Med Technician

A Bio Med Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, electrical safety testing, calibration, and repair of various electronic/electromechanical medical equipment. Provide call-in emergency services with minimum assistance and supervision.
Requirements:
A thorough understanding of electrical safety as it applies to the modern healthcare environment.
Able to interpret electronic schematic drawings and have a basic knowledge of the principles/theories of electricity/electronics.
Familiar with the use and safe operation of electronic/electromechanical medical test equipment.
3-5 years hospital experience in medical electronics or similar discipline is preferred.
Minimum 2 yrs. Associates Degree in Science (Electronics) or Bio-Medical Tech Degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
