Director of Emerg Mgmt/Safety

The Director of Emergency Management and Emergency Medical Services will assist in achieving compliance with various regulatory agencies including Joint Commission, NYSDOH, OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH as related to Emergency Management.
Responsibilities will include:
The Director will be responsible for providing training, education and development of Homeland Security Exercises Evaluation Program compliant drills.
Coordinate the required exercises and drills for the facility.
Coordinate emergency planning activities. Respond to the hospital and assist with the activation of disaster plans.
Participate with internal and external committees, and agencies regarding emergency preparedness including those at the hospital, local, regional, and state levels.
Coordinate Staff training, i.e. Hazmat Operations, Evacuation, Influx of Patients, Advanced Burn Life Support, ICS for Leadership, etc.
Support the implementation of ongoing education of the Hospital Incident Command (HICS) throughout the organization including supporting the following areas: security and safety, communications, training, operations, logistics, planning, finance and operations.
Bachelor's Degree
Certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician.
Work requires 5 years' experience in emergency / disaster planning
Must have Emergency Management Training
Trained in Incident Command ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
